Naturopathy or Naturopathic Medicine is a form of alternative medicine complementary to Western Medicine. Naturopathic philosophy favours a holistic approach focusing on addressing the underlying causes of illness and health issues. It combines the science of the disease and the body to develop a treatment regime using naturally occurring medical grade medicines and seeks to find the least invasive solution necessary to promote the body’s natural healing process and restore health, wellness, and vitality on all levels of our being – physical, psychological and spiritual.
By integrating conventional medicine and therapies with a range of natural therapies a naturopathic practitioner can treat a patients’ mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
The philosophy behind Naturopathy is the ‘healing power of the body’ meaning that the body has its own innate healing energy within. With the assistance of naturopathic medicine and therapies promoting a strong and supportive environment, the body can repair itself and recover from illness and injury.

Homeopathy stimulates the body’s natural healing abilities. It uses highly diluted substances to address symptoms by mimicking the effects of those symptoms in healthy individuals. This approach is based on the principle of “Like Cures Like.””
Founded in the 18th century, homeopathy is widely practiced worldwide. In the UK, it is part of the National Health Service, and in India, over 10,000 doctors use homeopathy to treat patients. Homeopathy’s goal is to strengthen the body’s ability to fight illness by restoring balance.

Bioenergy medicine can include several different subtle therapeutic interventions where a therapist helps to harness or manipulate a patient’s subtle energy, restore the body’s balance, and improve the body’s ability to heal. These “subtle energy” therapeutic interventions have been described and used for thousands of years by Homeopathy, Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and acupuncture, biofeedback, and bio resonance.

Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) is a method of quantifying body composition by introducing an electrical current throughout the body.
InBody uses this method to measure body composition, which divides your weight into different components, such as water, lean body mass, and fat mass, to better understand how changes in diet, lifestyle, and training regime are influencing overall body composition.
Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis measures impedance by applying alternating low-level electrical currents through the water in the body. The InBody measures each segment separately and shows the impedance values of all five cylinders of the body at each frequency in the impedance section of the InBody Result Sheet.

From a small child, I always loved and connected with horses becoming obsessed as a teenager and adult. My increasing awareness of the wisdom and benefits horses provided in optimizing my own health and wellness, resulting in my study of Equine Assisted Learning now integrated into my wellness practice.
Today, my integrated Wellness Practice combines my skills with the essence of Horse Wisdom. Therapeutic intervention specializes in teaching Horse Wisdom with the aim of improving the overall well-being of community members. By learning animal wisdom (using horses and other therapy animals) we also aim to promote empathy across species and help individuals develop strategies to help cope with life’s stressors and challenges.
Assisted Equine Learning is extremely powerful in improving a person’s mental and physical health. Participants will observe and learn how animals self-regulate, set boundaries, and embody the here and now. By learning about the strategies animals use, participants can then commence their healing journey by incorporating animal wisdom into their daily lives (and reap the benefits of being mentally and physically healthy as well as being more resilient). I am so excited to have integrated the essence of horse wisdom into my wellness practice. The foundation for building wellness is beautifully synergistic when all my natural therapies come together and amalgamate. The results are nothing short of a subtle miracle.

The number of consultations varies depending on your health challenges and support needs. Most clients require at least two sessions—an initial consultation and a follow-up. For weight loss and long-term health goals, I recommend the 6-Week Road to Wellness Program.
